Teach students to be healthy inside and out with Horizons 6th Grade Health! Building relationships, choosing healthy lifestyles, reviewing body systems and diseases, and understanding the uniqueness of each person are all taught in this Christian-based health course. The 62 step-by-step lessons in the teacher's guide include a list of needed materials, objectives, background information, lesson overviews, and related activities. The student workbook contains unit evaluations and over 50 perforated, colorful visuals and writing activities that are teacher-administered. The vibrant full-color student book includes photos, illustrations, additional readings, and questions to reinforce the lessons. Horizons Health curriculum is created to be taught two to three days per week.
